Green Technology Group
Green Technology Group's mission is to contribute to a sustainable development through research in chemistry. Our main research direction is the development of "green" extraction and analysis methods.
Applications are found in the areas of agricultural, forest, and marine biorefinery, and in food and nutrition. The second research direction is the production of particles and surfaces using supercritical carbon dioxide technology. Central for Green Technology Group's research is the use of supercritical carbon dioxide, pressurized hot water and carbon dioxide expanded liquids as processing media. These solvents have minor environmental impact, and they enable fast and efficient processes.
